Symptoms of Gallbladder Disease

It is important to know the symptoms of gallbladder disease because you can easily be confusing your symptoms with acid reflux or heartburn. Therefore by treating it as that and not as gallbladder disease you will not be getting any relief.

What is the difference between heartburn and gallbladder disease?

The symptoms in both cases are vary similar but there is a way to tell if it is just simply stomach acid or a more serious problem with your gallbladder. You can tell it is more then just heartburn if you are experiencing the symptoms daily or frequently.

Heartburn should only occur now and then when you have had a heavy meal. But gallbladder symptoms will be present almost after every meal and even at night as well. So if these symptoms are persistent then you most likely have a gallbladder problem.

What is causing gallbladder pain?

Your gallbladder is located right under your liver. What it does is store the bile which is used to digest fat. If you have been following a high cholesterol diet gallstones can start to form which is basically solid clumps of cholesterol. These gallstones cause pains similar to those of heartburn.
